英语作文——亚运在我心

　　What I think of The Guangzhou Asian Game

　　In 2001, All the Chinese people became excited when Guangzhou got the chance to held the 16th Asian Game. Now, the 16th Asian Games is around the corner. As the host, what everybody can contribute to the Games?

　　Asian Olympic Games has chosen Guangzhou, this is Guangzhou people's pride, is also all Chinese pride! When the Asian Games Committee decided to give Guangzhou the authority, all the Guangzhou people would bear an important responsibility from that moment on. To begin with, we ought to organize some promotion activities, such as advertisings and some sport competitions related to the Games, people will learn a lot about the Asian Games ' history and knowledge. We also should build up some modern facilities, and give good impressions to people all over the world.

　　This is a good chance to show our city's strength and promote Guangzhou's cultures. During Asian Games, there will be a lot of foreigners arrive in Guangzhou.What can we do for them？As a student, we need to do well in studying the English first, then we are able to talk with the foreignersin or introduce the well-known places to them in English. If we like, we also can be a little reporter or a volunteer, and we may recommend them about Guangzhou's delicious food, famous buildings and the history so that let foreingers to know more about our history and cultures.

　　Now, I want to talk something about Guangzhou Asian Games 'mascots, too. The mascots of the 2010 Asian Games are five goats, they are Le Yangyang,A Xiang,A He,A Ru and A Yi. Le Yangyang is a orange goat,it's very handsome,cheerful and lively, it also is the leader of these five goats.A xiang is in blue, it represents the Pearl River, and it also shows one kind of Guangzhou people friendly charactor. A He 's coulour is black, which shows its patient . And there is a smart and beautiful goat,it wears red, its name is A Ru,it represents every person's hospitality.My favourite goat is the last one------A Yi.It is in a green shirt, I find it very cute and lovely, and its coulour also tells us not to pollute the environment but to save and protect it.   

　　 It's another very important sport activity after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In order to welcome its coming, some sport stadiums need to be renew. At the same time, building up some modern stadiums is also necessary. Secondly，we need trying our best to train ourselves and set a great example. Then, we should welcome the people from all over the Asia with our hospitality. Thirdly, we must clean up the public locations and improve city infrastructure, but the most important thing is  some people in Guangzhou still throw the rubbish everywhere, some of them even spit in the streets,it is very impolite to do that. So, as the host,we must pay attention to  our behaviers. Please do not throw the rubbish everywhere, and everybody should try one's best to keep our city clean.

　　In my opinion, this Asian Games is so grand because it will be hold in my hometown. I'm very proud of it. Asian Game can unit most of the Asian countries. I hope Guangzhou can make full use of opportunity to show Guangzhou's beauty and modernization to the whole Asia people,“Thrilling Games，hammonious Asian”.  I believe we can make it perfect,that's what the Guangzhou people think so.

　　The 2010 Guangzhou Asian Game, here we come!
